“This micro-credential will provide you with practical, evidence-based wisdom from my more than 40 years of experience and research in smoking cessation. In becoming aware of the nature of addictions, you will develop an informed empathy for smokers and will learn a range of evidence-based strategies, both in helping smokers in tobacco control for the general public and to assist you as you support individual clients/patients to cease smoking. There are many influencing factors that may affect each person uniquely and you will be trained in how to carefully assess each individual smoker to determine an effective plan of action.”
